The Game
This is a brief column about the game against Chicago Blackhawks.The whole team of Colorado showed the great performance
and absolutely deserved to win tonight. Chicago players had many mistakes in
that game and the Avs knew how to use it. There is nobody for criticism. It was
one big excellent game. Giguere showed key saves and thanks to him the team did
not allow to get a goal in PKs. Defense blocked many chances and contributed to
the offensive part too. Attackers had had goal scoring opportunities since the
first minute and it finally finished by other end than usual. Jones scored two
amazing goals. Why now? He is aware of the trade deadline, he said. Did he
score just because of it and will stop with it after the TD? He could play this
way every time. All lines were simply perfect. It will be interesting where
Duchene will play if they will continue in this good shape. I am looking forward
for the next game. Was this game just a coincidence? Or the Avs have wake up
yet? We will see.
