David´s column on the last game

Wow, fantastic game, fantastic timing! Just start of the season and what a game, is not? No, I am joking. It was another great performance by Avs in the lost season. Giguere´s comments on his teammates have really helped. But, did we need improving at this stage of the regular season? I doubt. Thanks to this win or at least the performance, Sacco will keep his job in the next season. Back to Giguere. He had not good game, but his offensive mates helped him a lot. It was really solid show in the Canucks zone. Great passes which I had not seen for a long time. Finally, Landeskog, O´Reilly and also McLeod worked together perfectly. Like some players would play for new contracts´ extensions. I hope it is not about it. Big congratulations goes to Hejda. His goal was one of the greatest in the season. He absolutely deserved it. His job and effort is priceless. But again, did we need these games so far?
