David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Los Angeles Kings.

Bad first period, no pace, many penalties and everything negative at the start of the game. Yes, we could see Avs players being tired after previous night in Anaheim. Aittokallio had hard debut, but showed couple of big saves and did not do some rookie mistakes. Maybe he has to adapt on the NHL shots, but it is a normal for everyone. Giguere replaced him in the third due bad injury. Thanks Jiggy and his saves, the game went in the shootouts. He failed at this point of the game and Avs lost. But this is not a general loss. It is kind of win. Avs played very good in the final period, did not allowed 6 goals and finally lost with head up. And they are still in the race for Seth Jones. Congrats to Bordy on his first NHL goals. He absolutely deserved it after his great effort in his rookie NHL season. Stastny opened Avs´ scoreboard with a lucky tally. I guess even his teammates were surprised that they could score a goal. They did it due Kings had stopped to play in the middle frame. They absolutely underrated Avs. Shame on them.
