David´s column on the last game

Boring hockey without hockey for 59 minutes and 59 seconds by the Avs. Or maybe less. Who cares? But the home team did not play much better. It was the losers battle. They needed a big luck for the first goal. But the next two... It was all about Avalanche´s defense again. It was all about O´Byrne. Try guess how many players with „O´“ in their names will left in the organization after Wednesday? O´Brien is the hottest candidate. He was alone healthy player who was scratched yesterday. It is true Detroit could stop our pure chances by slashing and then got penalties. Classic Detroit´s dirty play, well-know for the Avalanche fans for years. First two lines played good, but it was misery at all. You would expect this kind of hockey from a frustrated team playing for nothing, but nothing. Yep, this is the Avs. There were interesting hard hits from our side, but it is not good receipt in these times.  Duchene´s second goal was Sacco´s fake chance again. Hope you did not believe.
