1993 – The year, in which Hejduk first played professionally (for Pardubice)
87 – Hejduk was chosen from this spot in the fourth round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques
3+1 – He played three games at the Olympics in Nagano and one at the World Cup, all without recording a point, but he won Olympic gold nonetheless
24 – The number Hejduk wore in Nagano; 23 was worn by Petr Svoboda, the scorer of the golden goal of the Olympics (many speculate that Hejduk slightly deflected his shot)
10.10.1998 – Hejduk makes his Avalanche debut alongside Sakic and finishes the game with a goal and an assist
