Roman Josi's power-play goal at 1:04 of the third period gave the Nashville Predators a 4-3 win against the Colorado Avalanche at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.

Predators forward Ryan Johansen set Josi up for the one-timer, and he beat Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov for his fourth goal.

Viktor Arvidsson gave the Predators a 1-0 lead at 10:08 of the first period on a breakaway. Arvidsson blocked a shot in the defensive zone to break free and beat Varlamov with a wrist shot for his eighth goal.

Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon tied the game 1-1 at 12:08 on a shot from the slot. Forward Rene Bourque retrieved the puck behind the Predators net to get the puck to MacKinnon, and he beat Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne for his sixth goal.

James Neal gave the Predators a 2-1 lead at 18:26 on a wrist shot from the right faceoff circle. Forward Colin Wilson passed it to Neal, who beat Varlamov above the shoulder for his 11th goal.

Neal returned to the lineup after missing four games with an upper-body injury.

Avalanche forward Matt Duchene tied the game 2-2 at 3:49 of the second period on the power play. Duchene got the puck from forward Mikko Rantanen and slid it past Rinne for his eighth goal.

P.K. Subban gave the Predators a 3-2 lead at 5:59 on a slap shot from the point for his seventh goal.

Duchene tied the game 3-3 at 13:56 on a rebound for his second power-play goal. Rinne made the save on a shot from Avalanche forward Jarome Iginla, but Duchene scored on the rebound.
