WC teams presentation: North America

The star of this young team is likely to be one of this year's draft, Auston Matthews, who was drafted by Toronto. This is the city where the World Cup will take place, so that Matthews does not even move too far.
However, a fan of the Colorado Avalanche will deny the eyes for Nathan MacKinnon. The twenty-year-old forward in services Avs got into the team only one from Colorado.
Team North America represents the best players of age 23 years and younger from October 1st in Canada and the United States. The tournament will take place from September 17 to October 1 at the Air Canada Center in Toronto.
Eighteen-year-old Matthews will be the youngest player on the roster. He led the United States with six goals at the 2016 IIHF World Championship and along with Dylan Larkin (Detroit Red Wings) led his team with nine of points. Larkin was one of the first 16 players named to Team North America on March 2.
