Roy’s decision: Shock, but not surprise

According to Eurolanche’s information, Patrick Roy’s resignation was shocking to the most of the Colorado Avalanche organization, but it wasn’t a surprise at the end. According to our findings, some people had realized it was Roy who was responsible for the game results.  ‘Good players don’t have to be good coaches’ echoed more frequently than ever in the past months. Importantly, if the team had a slow start in the upcoming season, Roy would be likely fired – and it was something unimaginable for him. He rather chose to make his own and last decision.
