Max Pajpach talks about his injurySlovak prospect of the Avalanche organization is working hard on his comeback after a long-term injury.

Maximilian Pajpach was picked up by the Colorado Avalanche organization last year at NHL Entry Draft. His main team is Tappara Tampere of the junior league in Finland. Max had tough past season. He did not play a game due an injury. Now, he is working hard on his comeback for the next season that may play a key role in his career.

"First practices were really hard. But it is better every day. The progress is even faster that we predicted," said Pajpach about his lower body injury to Eurolanche.com in an exclusive interview. "I was very upset when doctors told me I would miss whole season. I had tears in my eyes, but I set goals so this injury was not going to stopped or slow my career."

Pajpach is really looking forward on the next season as he may take a part in the Colorado Avalanche training camp. "I found out what the professional hockey means at their summer camp last year. It was incredible and I hope I will be invited this year too," said Pajpach, who was originally invited to the classic pre-season camp in last September, but was injured one week ahead of its start.

Slovak goalie wants to play his first games at senior level in Finland next season as well. "I am working hard now. I want to show myself as best I can. I will start the season in the junior team and my goal is play some games for the farm team of Tappara. I would be happy," said Pajpach who is in a regular contact with another Avalanche prospect, Roman Will of Czech Republic who plays for the ECHL affiliate. "I am not surprised he is doing well there. I am really happy for him," concluded Pajpach.
