The Denver Cutthroats will welcome the Tulsa Oilers on Friday, October 18, 2013 for their first home game of the season at the Denver Coliseum, as the Central Hockey League released its schedule for the 2013-14 upcoming season today.

This 66 game schedule marks the second season of the Denver Cutthroats as the doors open to the historic Denver Coliseum for 29 home games. The longest home stretch falls during the month of February, an eight-game stand beginning on Tuesday, February 4 against Rapid City and closing Saturday, February 22 when the Missouri Mavericks visit.   

During the month of January, the Denver Cutthroats head to the mountains to host two series of home games. The Cutthroats Colorado Tour gives fans across the Rocky Mountain area the chance to see the team in action. Kicking off the Colorado Tour in Aspen on January 3 and 4, the team will face the Tulsa Oilers. Wrapping up the Tour, the Cutthroats will host the Arizona Sundogs in Vail on January 24 and 25.

“The 2013-14 season brings exciting opportunities for Denver Cutthroats fans throughout the state,” said Cutthroats President Ben Rifkin. “From our inaugural Cutthroats Colorado Tour in Vail and Aspen to our extended home stand in February, new and loyal fans will all have access to catch our special blend of professional hockey and entertainment.”

The Denver Cutthroats will conclude the regular season with a Fan Celebration Weekend March 14-16 against the Quad City Mallards and the Allen Americans. The weekend will comprise of vast prizes and giveaways honoring fans for their support from this season.

Fans can purchase their tickets for single games starting in September and Colorado Tour tickets in November.
