Avs on WC (13): USA and Stastny shined
Along with the daily results, we also focus on Avs players at WC.Today was very important day. It was Quarterfinal´s day. In the first today´s game USA destroyed Russia 8-3. Paul Stastny shined with four points for two goals and two assists. Matt Hunwick added one assist. On the other side, Varlamov changed Bryzgalov after 4th goal and added one assist. He was totally angry on Russia´s players. Varlamov played in four games and gained 87,8 % and 3,59 GAA.

In the second game won Switzerland 2-1 against Czech republic. Swiss players has won eight games in a row and set the new national record. Jan Hejda gained no point. His final statistics is one assist in eight games.

The important moment from this game was stupid foul from Edler on E.Staal. Staal has knee injury and it can be moment when NHL don´t have to get players to Sochi 2014. Matt Duchene gained five points for four goals and one assists in eight games, Ryan O´Reilly gained three points (1+2).
