Tomas Vincour is on fire in AHL!

Vincour is off to a tremendous start in AHL. In his first 6 games he
managed to add 11 points to his score sheet. Talented youngster from Czech
Republic showed his qualities already in Dallas Stars scoring two goals and
adding an assist in 15 appearances this season. Mind you that he was playing in 3rd
line and in team that was struggling to score goals in the first place. At that
time, Stars were also considered as outlaws from this year´s play-offs.
The 22-year-old Vincour was born in Brno, Czech Republic and with 6-foot-2,
204-pound he is powerful forward with good hockey sense and is considered as
responsible player on ice. He has very good puck protection and does not say no
to physical game either.
He was selected by Dallas Stars in the 5th round (129th
overall) of the 2009 entry draft and even though he had some solid seasons
oversees; it seems that he has found the right fit just now, in AHL team Lake
Erie Monsters.
He is no rookie to NHL either, as he already played in 86 NHL games and
added 15 points overall (all for Dallas Stars). Unfortunately, Monsters will
not make it this year to the play-off, but we are all hoping he will prove us
his qualities next season for Avalanche! He definitely has the potential for
it.
