David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Edmonton Oilers.

Nice scenario tonight. A penalty for the Avs in early seconds of the game and conceding first goal just afterwards. The loss was coming! Could you feel it in the air? You will never forget that smell from this season. Sacco also won´t. This architect prepared the following changes in Avs line up last night: Duchene was moved from the center position to left wing and Hejduk played 10 minutes in the fourth line. Duchene “deserved” this move because he has been our best player for the whole season, so why not make him just average like Sacco´s average tactic? Secondly, poor Hejduk. His last games in NHL are coming. And what Sacco did to him for a goodbye? F*** 10 minutes! I cannot believe this. I thought he would play in the first or second line, but not… Sacco is still there. Mr. Architect. About the game, it was not such a disaster by Colorado like it might look like. They outshot Oilers by 10 shots. But Edmonton wanted to win and show great effort in achieving that. And an Effort by Avs? Cannot be commented with nice words.
