David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Calgary Flames.

The Avs lost to Calgary at the home ice 1:9 two years ago. It happened few hours after the final retirement of Forsberg was announced. Strange and crazy news happened last night too. O´Reilly signed an offer sheet with the Flames. Then, the Avs played another horrible first period. They did not know how to cover opponents. It was easy goals scored by them. During the watching of this circus, the management reported they matched the offer sheet and keep O´Reilly. Do you know what happened than in the rest of a game? The Avs played one of the best hockey in their season. Fast pace, huge pressure and many shots. Yes, PP still does not work, but it was big hockey. They were losing by two goals for two times in the game, but could finished the winning turnaround in the final period. Every, I mean really every man on the ice finally worked hard. Big thank you to every man with the A on his chest. This was game we would like to see every night. Current problem is: Where place O´Reilly?
