Avs take the Afternoon off get a loss

Colorado Avalanche will face off against the Kings for the second time this season. Last game against the Kings the Avs came away with a 3-1 win. This is Landys first game back since this injury.
The Avs go down super early in this one just 58 seconds in. Dustin Brown gets the goal to put the Avs down 1-0. The Avs get there first PP of the game just 8 minutes in. They of course do not score but someone hit a post. After some more boring play the Avs make a defensive lapse and get scored on to go down 2-0. Late in the period the Avs get their second PP of the night. But of course some Avs player needs to get a call on them to negate it. Duchene get called for something so 4 on 4 to end the period. The Avs end the first own 2-0 leading in shots 9 to 6.
The period starts with both teams on the 4 on 4. The Kings take a slashing call making it 4-3 for a bit then back to 4-4 and then a short Avs PP. Milan Hedjuk negates that as the Avs score on the 4 on to make the score 2-1 for the Kings still. The Avs do get another PP but decide to let it go the wrong way and get scored on. The Kings get a shorthanded goal to up their lead in the game to 3-1. Later in the period the Avs get another PP. The Kings get a 2 on 1 somehow on the Avs PP but Varly saves this one. McGinn tries to get into a fight because even know they have McLeod and Bordy on the team they never get unleashed anymore. Late in the period the Kings score again to go up 4-1 by the end of the second.
Nothing for a bit in the third then the Avs take a penalty. But hey the Avs kill it off thanks to Varly mostly. Then nothing till the last minute when once again a nonfighter has to do some fighting for the Avs good old chuck. The game ends with the teams playing 4 on 4. The Avs get embarrassed by not even trying to play the game 4-1. But hey Landy got a point in his first game back so you know some good stuff.
