David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Nashville Predators.

Nice win, important points, many goals, great Varly´s saves, but... But there is still one “but”. I cannot leave my negative feelings after one win. Avs were lucky and some refs´ key mistakes helped them much. All could turnaround in the different way. But at the other side, this is a part of the hockey game. How many times the same happened to us like to Preds tonight? So we can satisfy with the previous comment and enjoy the key win. Our offensive lines are more and more dangerous every game. Say thank you to unbelievable Duchene. He plays his best hockey of a career. It helps to his wings a lot. Finally, we saw something from the second line. Palushaj! Sorry, I do not expect he will continue in this pace. By the way, five allowed goals are too much. Especially on the home ice. Varly did what he could, but it did not work for his teammates. D-pairs were with some mistakes, but I cannot say they played poorly. It was weird game. Every year it happens at least once. Let´s move on. And we will see.
