Van der Gulik is AHL Player of the week

The American Hockey League announced on Wednesday that Lake Erie Monsters forward David van der Gulik has been selected as the AHL Player of the Week for the period ending 23.12.2012. In three games on the week, van der Gulik scored three goals and tallied four assists for seven points to go along with a plus-5 rating for the Monsters. In 30 games for Monsters he gained 21 points for 10 goals and 11 assists.

Gabriel Beaupre was recalled from Denver Cutthroats to Lake Erie Monsters. He made debut in AHL and gained one plus point and two penalty minutes.
