O´Reilly debuted in the KHL

Ryan O´Reilly debuted in the KHL on Wednesday´s night and won his first game in the current best league in the world. His new employer Metallurg Magnitogorsk won against Atlant Mytischi 5:3. Jevgenij Malkin shined, when he scored a hattrick. O´Reilly played in the third line with players Kazinov and Platonov.

Ryan O´Reilly played in the first game 18 minutes and 31 seconds. Overall, Ryan took 21 faceoffs and won 11 of them - 52,4 %. He had the second highest ice-time amongst the centers after Malkin. Ryan had 4 shots on the net, but young goalie Chudobin saved all of them.

Semyon Varlamov has missed seventh straight game. He was on the bench as the goalie backup, what indicates he has not health problems anymore.
