Colorado Avalanche agrees to two-year deal with Steve Downie.Colorado Avalanche re-signed right wing Steve Downie.
Downie, acquired from Tampa Bay last season for Kyle Quincey, will earn $5.3 million over the two years, with $2.55 million in 2012-13 and $2.75 million the next season. Downie, 25, scored two goals and had 13 points in 20 games for Colorado.
He injured his shoulder in final weeks in the last season but he already has made a full recovery.Source: Denver Post
