Did Sherman make a place for Parise?

There were many rumors about Zach Parise. The top was saying he could be trade to Colorado
Avalanche. Some fans then speculated about the free place on the roster for
Zach. They all were saying – if Zach
here, Mueller has to leave! And what are we see now? Mueller is gone.
The Avs management lost the patience with Peter Mueller. They do not want to risk
anymore. Mueller´s healthy is still not in the condition like it was before the
key hit by Rob Blake two years ago.
I personally would give Mueller last chance for the next year. But I am not
manager and I am not deciding about millions who do not even belong to me.
I think the primary reason of Mueller´s end is the
healthy issue. If we would go deeper we could maybe find Parise somewhere. But
very deeper. Sherman has now three options what to do now:
1.
Try to sign Parise who still does not know where he will play.
2.
Sign offensive wing (this is the most realistic theory).
3.
Do nothing.
According to sources the Avs have made offer to all
RFAs players excluding Porter and Mueller. I highly expected Jamie McGinn and Steve Downie will be back for the next year. Then the Avs will have
7 solid forwards. Yeah, Duchene can play on the wing, but I see him more in the
center. Downie and McGinn could support the third line. Or Hejduk could finish
there again… I am trying to say the team is still missing the big support on
the wing in the two top lines. They have to try to find somebody. I would be OK with Parise. And you?
