The Game

Avs absolutely destroyed Northeast division. They beat all teams from there. It was the hardest against Buffalo. Varlamov allowed four goals – first tipped with skates, second after big mistake in our PP and the fourth tipped with the stick of his teammate. Fortunately the fortune did not leave the team. Two goals scorer McGinn showed with Landeskog the great performance again. They both are just perfect without mistakes. Downie did not get his name to the goal stats but helped the team a lot. It is shame O´Reilly does not get points like it was in the past. Finally Jones added one! But I am still missing the second element in the offense which would support Landeskog and his line. Varlamov has another big game behind him. He was like a Roy – he was not scared of the play outside his net and used his stick many times. Defensive pairs made many mistakes – I will welcome Elliott´s comeback this night. The winning streak continues, but also other teams are winning.
