Celebrating 10 Eurolanche Invasions

The Eurolanche Invasion is the longest-tenured project of European fans of the Colorado Avalanche in the entire NHL. The Eurolanche Fan Club organized 10 oversea trips under the name Eurolanche Invasion between 2008-2018.
“Thanks to the Invasion project, Eurolanche became a permanent part of the history of the Colorado Avalanche. That’s mostly thanks to repeated trips to Colorado and interactions with both players and fans directly in Denver. We’d like to thank everyone for their support,” said Eurolanche Founder & President David Puchovsky.
A total of 59 Fan Club members from 8 countries took part in the Eurolanche Invasion project, visiting 63 games of the Avalanche at the Pepsi Center and several games at away arenas. Together, the trips’ participants visited 10 US States, Canada and Mexico. They’ve spent a total of 149 days overseas and flew more than 200,000 kilometers.
Part of each Eurolanche Invasion was a busy schedule, which included lots of activities and field trips, including meetings with Colorado Avalanche players.
Eurolanche celebrated 10 organized Eurolanche Invasions during the past few months, publishing a number of commemorative articles about the past 10 Invasions via its website and social media.
