Home-and-home series is finished with score 9:1! Who waited this? I had little worries after the first period of the last game. Varlamov was absolutely fantastic. It is shame he got one goal – from the penalty shot. If he was not there, this game could end differently. Defensive players got better and better. Finally, they could help to young Russian goalie. It is hard to point to concrete offensive player. All of them had nice game. They scored seven times. No more words are needed. Of course everybody could find some negative points at this win, but I guess only positive issues should players take from this kind of game. Big win in this part of the season is huge. Landeskog is going for Calder. He is actually first in the rookie rankings. It is also great McGinn and Downie are playing very good. Everything depends now on Varlamov because the Avs are still unsure at the both end of the ice. If Semyon plays good, it is usually ends with win.
