The Game

The GameThis is a brief column about the game against Detroit Red Wings.

The beauty of hockey! We all have to know Colorado played two games within 24 hours. The second one was held on the ice of then-leading team of the conference. But it did not matter for the Avs players. They started big show from the first second of the game. They almost did not give a chance to Wings. Landeskog is heading for a Calder; I am not sure about it due a strange NHL policy and behavior. His co-operation with Downie is incredible. Who wants Quincey back? He made beautiful mistakes yesterday and gained two minus points. Duchene played better than in previous games but is still missing creative wing. Mueller would help him after coming back. Defensive pairs were solid. Wilson really showed one of the best games of his career. Do not laugh, but Hunwick plays very nice. Giguere allowed couple of lucky goals, but was fantastic. The situation has changed. Trade deadline is coming tomorrow. Who will leave the team? Maybe nobody. We will see.
