The Game

When I sent my prediction on the result of this game (5:0), I did not believe it would become true. The first period was boring and also bad from the side of the Avs. The team could restart and did not give a chance to the opponent in the rest of the game. Varlamov was great. He had a lot of job, saved many chances. The defensive had again solid game. I had concerns about them but they could play even without injured O´Byrne. I would underline the name of almost each player from the offensive´s lines. McLeod and his fourth line helped us much especially in the hard first period. McClement showed his defensive and also fighting skills. Landeskog played standard game what means absolutely perfect. I have real worries about Duchene. He was again invisible without chances. He needs new teammates on the line as soon as possible. I would not talk about Hejduk, because he has played in the dark last 20 games.
